CLINICAL TESTING OF THE MILANO™ CHAIR

Seating Matters are continually carrying out clinical testing and trialing of the chairs.

The Milano™ chair has been tested through pressure mapping methods to evaluate its pressure management properties. During this process, a computerized clinical tool is used to assess the pressure distribution for pressure management properties. Once the patient is seated, the computer then displays a map of pressure using colours, numbers and a graphic image of the seated position. Typically, the hotter colors (the reds) indicate areas of higher pressures, and the cooler colors (the blues) indicate areas of lower pressures.
